Mr. Salty Beret, Black
We drew inspiration from one of Dizzy Gillespie’s greatest songs and created a limited edition run of “Salt Peanuts” that spotlights the Cabaret Card era on its label.
The label also features Mr. Salty, a fictional mascot inspired by the many disgruntled jazz musicians who had their Cabaret Card revoked.
During the conception of this project we felt it was imperative for our capsule didn’t included a classic Jazz accessory, as an ode to two of our favorite Jazz Artists, Dizzy Gillespie + Thelonious Monk, the Beret.
Beret produced by classic French Hatter, Laulhère.
Made in France of 100% French merino wool.
One size, stretchable up to size 60.
Includes Mr. Salty Pin.
Includes limited edition tin of Salt Peanuts.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the music department at Benjamin Banneker High-School in Brooklyn, NY.
