What is the 4th of July Tee, Black
We put the title of Fredrick Douglas’s famous 1852 speech "What to the slave, is the fourth of July?" on the chest of a T-Shirt. Our hope with this project is to raise awareness of this often untaught speech and like Douglas, we want to remind more that there is still an immense amount of work that needs to be done in this country so that all citizens can enjoy "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."
